Aspen Aerogels’ Cryogel® Z is a flexible aerogel composite blanket designed for insulating cold temperature environments ranging from cryogenic to ambient. With a thermal conductivity of 14 mW m-1 K-1 at room temperature, Cryogel insulates even better at lower temperatures with a thermal conductivity of only 10 mW m-1 K-1 at -330°F/-200°C! Laminated with a reflective metal vapor barrier film. Lighter than Spaceloft but a bit dustier. Maximum temperature is 390°F/200°C, density is only 0.13 g cm-3 (4.3 oz/120 g per square foot). Download the material SDS here and the TDS here.
